A case study with Domino's Pizza in the USA has reported impressive sales results using new technology called the "Upsella".
The Upsella, which is now available in Australia through 1800 ONHOLD, answers an incoming call, plays a brief intro and upsell message and then transfers the call through to the store.

When asked to comment on the case study, Bill Ebbing from Domino's Pizza reported "Ironically, the day it was installed, the first order of the day bought the special....Will it pay for itself? Oh yeah. It already has"
1800 ONHOLD's Col Mooney has been working with some Queensland Pizza stores to prove that the same results can be achieved here in Australia. Col commented "The pizza stores participating in the trials are already seeing results and are excited about the increase in sales".
